FillRadar puts petrol, diesel, LPG, EV charging and boat fuel on one map, and helps you decide where to stop: by price, by distance, or by what the trip actually costs. Here is each feature, and where its data comes from.
local_gas_station Prices for every way you fill up
Pick a fuel and the map shows the stops for it, with a list you can sort by best value, cheapest or nearest.
Petrol & diesel
Unleaded, super unleaded, diesel and premium diesel, refreshed about every 30 minutes from the UK Government's Fuel Finder scheme. Prices are what retailers report.
EV charging
Locations, connector types (Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO) and power from Open Charge Map, with community-reported tariffs. Tariffs can lag behind the operator, and live status is unknown at many sites.
LPG (Autogas)
No UK scheme publishes LPG prices, so each price is reported by a driver or imported and dated, and the app shows its age. How LPG works.
Boat fuel
Marina pontoons, boatyards and canal-side fuel points, with diesel and petrol prices where known and the duty declaration each price was quoted under. How boat fuel works.
route Route planner
Enter a start and a destination and FillRadar shows the stops along the way. It returns every alternative route Google offers, up to three, and lets you choose how far off the route to look.
Corridor and fuel filters
Narrow the search to a corridor either side of the route and to the fuel you need. Changing filters or picking another alternative does not use another daily search.
Saved routes
Keep up to ten routes on any plan and re-open them in a tap.
Route alerts
Get a notification when the cheapest station on a saved route drops by 2p a litre.
Hand off to navigation
Send any station to Google Maps or Waze with one tap.
Route search needs a free account. Basic includes one new route a day; Premium includes ten.
notifications_active Price alerts
Follow a station, charger or route and FillRadar tells you when its price moves. Prices are checked on our servers, so the app does not poll in the background and alerts use very little battery.
Fuel: 1p a litre
A push notification when a followed fuel price moves by 1p a litre or more.
Charging: 1p a kWh
The same for a followed charger, when its price moves by 1p a kWh.
Pre-commute (Premium)
The cheapest station on your route, sent at 07:00 and 17:00 before you set off.
Savings digest
Weekly and monthly totals of what you have saved.
Basic includes one price alert a day. Premium removes that limit.

Open a station or charger and see how its price has moved: 7 days on Basic, up to 90 days on Premium.
Price outlook
An indication of where prices may be heading, based on wholesale trends, for signed-in users. It is a guide, not advice or a guarantee.
directions_car Vehicles and best-value sorting
Tell FillRadar your tank size and fuel consumption, or your EV's connectors, and the list can rank stops by the estimated cost of filling up and driving back, not just by pence per litre. Premium lets you keep two vehicles, for example a petrol car and an EV.
widgets Home-screen widgets
Keep the latest prices for your saved area on your home screen and refresh them with a tap. Basic includes the Cheapest Nearby widget; Premium adds Top 3, 1x1 and saved-station widgets. Widgets use the last location the app saved while it was open, and do not track you in the background.

verified_user How we treat the data
FillRadar shows prices it did not set, so it tells you where each one comes from and how old it is. Petrol and diesel come from a government scheme; LPG and boat fuel prices come from drivers, boaters and dated imports, and are unverified. Always check the price at the pump.
